Expertise Center "Milk Local Product"

The Expertise Center "Milk Local Product" was created at the base of Poltava State Agrarian University and Farm enterprise „DOBRO-KRAFT”. It was created according to the Order of Rector on creation of the EC; Order of Rector on working group of the EC, Order of Rector on creation of the Council of the EC and Order of Rector on appointment of head and secretary.
 
It was also signed еру Cooperation Agreement with an individual entrepreneur Oksana Skok.
In the frame of the project the following equipment was purchased for the: "Milk Local Product"
- Mini - line for processing of 120 l. milk, inventory number 1014210291.
- Personal computer, with inventory number 1014210292.
- Monitor, with inventory number 1113013315.

The premises and equipment are used for conducting laboratory classes, manufacturing dairy products and conducting research for master's and postgraduate theses. Conducting trainings for local producers of products, school students in Poltava. Production of products from raw materials for temporary displaced persons living in university dormitories. Application for a utility model patent has been prepared and submitted Ref No. 415891, Production method of brine cheese "Pikantna Brynza" from goat milk, November 23, 2023.

Regarding the production of soft fresh cheese with various additives were held the consultations with DOBRO-KRAFT farm and small producers of the region.
The representatives of local stakeholder enterprises took part in various events (round tables, workshops and meetings of the Expertise Center Council).
Within the framework of the activities of "Milk Local Product" Expertise Center, were held the workshops between companies+university, working meetings, open days for companies and other experts, roundtables.

Pilot project

Improving the technology of high biological value soft brine cheeses from goat's milk
Literature review, objectives 
Improvement of the technology and expansion of the range of soft brine cheeses by increasing the biological value of the cheese

Results of the PP:
Based on the results obtained, recommendations for the production of soft brine cheeses with increased biological value will be developed and presented to manufacturing companies. The results will be published in articles in scientific journals and in materials of scientific conferences. Application for a utility model patent has been prepared and submitted Ref No. 415891, Production method of brine cheese "Pikantna Brynza" from goat milk, November 23, 2023. The results of the PP will be used to prepare a Master's thesis. The results of the pilot project will be included in the teaching of disciplines "Technology of Milk and Dairy Products" and "Innovative Technologies of Livestock Products Processing".
