Pilot Project:
The use of non-traditional organic feed additives as bioregulators in poultries feeding
The Aim of PP TUM: Development of innovative processes for the use of new non-traditional organic feed products and increasing productivity, quality and reducing poultry production costs.
Specific objectives:
- identification of secondary resources by using local and non-traditional materials (and the peat), intended for the elaboration and production of new organic feed products for poultry feed;
- studying the potential of secondary resources/waste resulting from agricultural activities suitable for obtaining organic agri-food products;
- improving innovative methods for processing secondary resources/waste in order to obtain new fodder products;
- elaboration of innovative technologies regarding the efficiency of bioavailability of organic fodder products;
- capitalization of natural resources in the context of the strategy of sustainable agriculture development;
- establishing optimal levels for the inclusion of new feed ingredients in poultry feed;
- identification of the effect of the new feed resources on the digestibility and assimilation of nutrients by poultries;
- improving the methods of application of new fodder products in obtaining and exploiting agri-food products;
- development and implementation of nutritional solutions for pigs / birds, environmentally friendly, by incorporating new organic feed products according to the physiological requirements of the poultries;
- obtaining functional products (poultry) naturally enriched in nutrients;
- assessing the economic efficiency of secondary resources / agricultural waste in obtaining competitive agri-food products in accordance with EU policies;
- evaluation of new organic feeds as growth promoters and their effects on growth, feed conversion, meat quality and feasibility;
- elaboration and publication of articles, guides, practical recommendations; organizing round tables, international and republican seminars based on the scientific-practical results obtained
